About Us
DiBona Associates was founded in October 2009 by G. Fred DiBona III. As a full-service brokerage/consulting firm, we offer consulting services and administrative solutions to employers in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Our company aims to become an extension of our client’s Human Resources departments, assisting them with the complex and burdensome issues of benefits administration while developing creative and innovative solutions to improve the organization’s benefits program.
G. Fred DiBona III, Principal
Fred has worked in the employee benefits and healthcare industry for most of his career. He began his career working for a managing general underwriter, selling stop-loss policies in conjunction with brokers/consultants and third-party administrators to large self-funded employer groups. Fred then moved to the brokerage/consulting side of the business working for a local brokerage/consulting firm. He was responsible for all aspects of marketing, communications, proposals and new client implementation. In addition to those responsibilities, Fred built a substantial book of group benefit business for that company.
Fred is a founding and current board member of Fred’s Footsteps, an organization that provides financial relief to hard-working families in the Philadelphia region who find themselves in crisis due to the costs associated with caring for a seriously ill, injured or disabled child. Fred is also a member of WHYY’s Community Advisory Board and is a member of the Coaches vs. Cancer Executive Committee. Fred lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and two children.
